Requirements
The lighting in the sports hall and changing rooms of a school is controlled
using PLC. As various sports clubs have also rented the sports hall in the
evenings, PLC has been programmed to switch the lighting off at a set time
so that the clubs cannot use the hall for longer than permitted. Via a central
switch, the lighting can be switched on and off completely independently.
Solution
The lighting in the sports hall, grouped in two lighting groups, can be
switched on via a Pushbutton connected to a PLC input. The lighting in the
changing rooms can be switched on via another pushbutton.
The lighting is switched off in the evening via the PLC time switch. At 9:45
in the evening a horn sounds for 5 seconds to warn that the time is up.
There is time to leave the sports hall and switch off the light. At 10 o'clock
the first light group in the sports hall is switched off and at 10:15 the second
light group. The lighting in the changing rooms is switched off at 10:25. The
light cannot be switched on again after that.
Via a central switch, the lighting can be switched on and off completely
independently (for example, by the caretaker).
The holiday periods can be manually excluded via the locking switch.
