Dear friend the communication with drives is completely different
If you want to monitor or program your drive through drive monitor, there is a way for communication for each drive rather than the operation which can be using PROFIBUS or PROFINET
Except for Micromaster, the PC to Drive communication cable for programming or monitoring is so simple and can be easily made
There is also another communication way called USS ,you can check details in the manual of each drive
But I don't hear before about the monitoring/programming through the PC-Adaptor
If you have any reference for that please tell us and then we can search for this point
